The upcoming Olicía album LIQUID LINES is a two version double album - two records, two versions of each track, two moods, two colours.

"Texture Of Words (Orange Version)" describes the discomfort and pain that sits under your skin when words remain unspoken for years. It's about how difficult communication can be at times. An ever-growing, heavy cloud forms between two people, everything inwardly fights against the silence. They are close and yet they often cannot find access to one another. Melancholy and gnawing pain - and yet in the foreground: floating lightness. Maybe to hide the deep sadness behind it all?

The violet version of this track has been our starting point. Out of that composition derived this orange version. We translated the vocal arpeggio line that you can hear in the violet version into a synthetic expression and formed the arrangement around it.
