    This is the physical version of our album Liquid Lines which we recorded in two versions. An album in two colours, two moods, two captured moments of expression. The orange version is more energetic and outgoing while the violet version is rather calm and organic. You'll only be able to listen to both versions on CD or vinyl. The upcoming Olicía album LIQUID LINES is a two version double album - two records, two versions of each track, two moods, two colours.

"Texture Of Words (Violet Version)" describes the discomfort and pain that sits under your skin when words remain unspoken for years. It's about how difficult communication can be at times. An ever-growing, heavy cloud forms between two people, everything inwardly fights against the silence. They are close and yet they often cannot find access to one another. Melancholy and gnawing pain - and yet in the foreground: floating lightness. Maybe to hide the deep sadness behind it all?

We rehearsed the song in Anna's basement for a long time before we recorded it for the album and now it is one of the first songs that we play live and we imagine being a synthesizer while singing the intro.
